Coloring Book Illustrator and Designer

From 2006 to 2014, I had the pleasure of providing graphic design services to HDA, Inc. In addition to home plan books, we developed several coloring books that were distributed to Dollar General, Menards, and Michaels Craft stores. I scanned the artist sketches and cleaned the lines in Illustrator. I would also colorized covers and develop possible new title ideas. During my time there, I designed over 80 possible coloring book covers and a dozen published coloring books.

Coloring Book Covers

I became quite familiar with Illustrator as I was producing these coloring books. I began adding more shading and highlights as I created more covers. These books were my early design works. Unfortunately, the coloring book distribution was shut down before we could publish my later cover designs.

Coloring Pages & Activities

In addition to covers, I scanned in all the sketches from our artist and created outlines for all the coloring pages. I also drew some of my own images and developed activity pages for extra fun.
