Design & Marketing

In addition to publication design, I have been closely involved in marketing and website maintenance for my past companies and clients over the last 13 years. I have done many email campaigns, social media posts, brochures, flyers, posters, banners and other marketing materials. Additionally, I often pick up side projects from customers, family, friends, and sometimes just for fun.

St. Clare School

Together with an amazing team of amazing ladies, we developed a social media marketing campaign for St. Clare Virtual Auction in March 2021. Since COVID has kept us at distance, the 2021 auction was relying heavily on an online presence. I volunteered to design and schedule Facebook posts on the event page twice a day for 5 weeks leading up to and through the auction. Morning posts highlighted our major sponsors and afternoon posts advertised auction items. I also created some fun games for Saturday night.

In order to get all the items advertised, the week of the auction included 4-8 posts a day. During the week of the auction, our team leader inspired our event subscribers once a day with Facebook lives. The finale was a pick-up dinner on Saturday and a fun YouTube live featuring a count-down to the closing bids and calling out raffle winners. It was an amazing experience with a wonderful team and I look forward to helping out in the future. Together we raised over $100,000!

In addition to FB promotional materials, I also helped design matching banners, flyers, and Auction Certificates, as well ass assisted with uploading auction entries onto the GiveSmart Auction website.

I continue to volunteer graphic need for St Clare. In 2022, I helped again with the Auction. We also developed a new school newsletter and created a program for the school musical, The Little Mermaid.

HBIC HQ

In August 2020, I started volunteering for an amazing company called HBICHQ. As Senior Content Creator, I have been busy assisting with the design need of the CEO. Recently, we developed a beautiful Mandala planner, Journal, and Mentor workbook. We meet every week to brainstorm and develop ideas to further the cause of supporting women and their businesses.

As a nonprofit for women, HBICHQ’s dedication is to see more women-owned businesses drive our future.

We pledge to achieve this by empowering entrepreneurship and providing charitable programs focusing on professional and personal development for women-identified individuals.

Our charitable programs, funded by donations sponsors, support women-identified persons who are survivors of domestic abuse or homelessness, former foster youth, or have faced other adversities.

PEO Covers

Every year since 2014, I have had the pleasure of designing our local P.E.O.’s chapter book cover. Each year the organization announces a theme and I attribute that theme and the symbolic daisy to the cover image. P.E.O. is a philanthropic organization where women celebrate, educate, and motivate women to achieve their highest aspirations.

The Clareion

In addition to volunteering and substitute teaching at the school, I provided my design expertise to continue the newsletters for St. Clare School. They supplied me with a template of the past issues that printed locally in blue and black ink. I updated the bi-annual issues for several years until they went all digital with their newsletters in 2018.

Other Design

Just some odds and ends, a few book covers for friends, and other creations.
